These are not our psychologists. They are professionals listed under government schemes — district mental health programmes, Tele-MANAS state cells, and government hospital OPDs. We have collected them in one place because they are otherwise very hard to find.

How to use this directory
- Pick your state, and optionally a language, then search. Each entry lists the district, languages spoken, the hours they prefer calls, and a number to ring.
- These consultations are free and happen over the phone — there is nowhere you need to travel to.
- If a listing is out of date, please tell us so we can correct it.
- If you can’t find anyone near you, call Tele-MANAS on 14416 — they can refer you within your own state.

This is the Rehabilitation Council of India’s list of RCI-certified professionals who volunteered to provide free telephone counselling to the public. RCI obtained each professional’s consent by email before publishing it. Filter by state, language, or type of psychologist.
