Reach Out

“Talk to someone,” “Reach out,” “Share your feelings”. While these sound like simple and direct requests, it might not be as easy to follow them through. Reaching out is this vague sentiment that people expect everyone to be inherently good at without ever really being taught how to do it. So, if you’re not sure what to say while struggling? We understand.

Sometimes, you might not exactly know what you need/want, but you are aware that you’re hurting. There might be times when you don’t want to confide in your friends or family. Or if it seems that you’re nearing the end of your rope and might snap, raise the alarm! We are here to remind you that reaching out is important because that one text can save you from so much pain. We are here to remind you that YOU are important. We request you not to get discouraged if you are not sure what to say. A text as simple as, “I’m sad/anxious/depressed. I’m not sure what to ask for but, I don’t want to be left alone right now.” is just as important to us as any other conversation. We are present for you around the clock and assure to provide a safe space to talk about your feelings.
