Support Groups
What Are We Doing?
At Baatcheet, we seek to connect individuals who are struggling with common issues and stressors and encourage them to talk about what they’re going through in a virtual safe, non-judgemental space, moderated by in-house counsellors. All you have to do is fill out the form below, and be willing to give and receive support from people going through similar issues!

Life can be hard, but you don’t have to go through it all alone. We understand how reaching out for support can be scary, but we also know it can be wonderfully soothing and cathartic. We’ re ready to talk and listen, whenever you are!

All participants will be given pseudo names and initials, so that anonymity is maintained, and everyone can talk without the fear of judgment. The session will be overlooked by an in-house counsellor and one Baatcheet team member who has received extensive training in moderating support groups.
Research highlights that being a part of support groups enables individuals to provide and receive support, engage in meaningful discussions, feel increasingly supported and empowered, and experience a sense of belongingness and social connectedness. Support groups have been proven to be helpful for individuals dealing with a variety of issues, ranging from anxiety, depression, substance abuse disorder, and even those with physical ailment diagnoses, among others
Weekly Agenda
Each week we aim to discuss a new, relevant topic and we’d love for you to join in, and discuss your experiences with others who can relate. The weekly topic for each virtual support group session can be found below, and previously discussed issues can be viewed, as well. Don’t see a topic you’d like to discuss? Tell us about it! We’ll do our best to put it out there and conduct a session revolving around that issue.
*NOTE:
Kindly note that the aim of these virtual support groups is not to provide therapy or counselling services, but rather to foster mutual support, empathetic discussion, and collaborative problem solving, among participants. This is not crisis counselling, and to better understand the ethical limits to anonymity and confidentiality, kindly visit the Terms and Conditions section.
